Dr. Christian Broennimann, CEO

Christian has been the manager of the PILATUS project since 1998. He has developed the readout chip of the PILATUS detectors and was responsible for the complete system architecture.

Dr. Clemens Schulze-Briese, CSO

Clemens has worked in X-ray instrumentation and crystallographic methods development throughout his entire career. The first PILATUS 6M detector was installed at Clemens' SLS beamline X06SA and he contributed to the demonstration of its unique properties in protein crystallography.

Dr. Eric F. Eikenberry, Software Development

Eric has long been involved in the development of X-ray detectors and in scientific research with X-ray diffraction. Together with Christian he worked out the PILATUS system architecture and developed the necessary software packages.

Markus Naef, Head of Production

Markus has worked many years in the development of electronics and was responsible for the design and production of the readout electronics of the PILATUS systems.
