Full-Field Digital Mammography

In the accompanying image, HPC used for full-field digital mammography (FFDM) of the accreditation phantom ACR 156 clearly reveals target objects, masses, and micro-calcifications. Minimum features detected are highlighted in red. The measurement was made with a 75 μm pixel-size HPC detector and demonstrated a very high sensitivity — detecting 15 of the 16 features.
