Spectral dynamic 4D cine-cardiac micro-CT imaging

Dynamic micro-CT imaging applications are one step closer to multi-energy and multi-material information. Recent results from Duke University demonstrate dynamic cine-cardiac micro-CT for in vivo 3 material decomposition. Quantitative separation of cardiac calcified plaques, vascular iodine and soft tissue is achieved by using multi-threshold DECTRIS HPC detector technology and the split Bergman iterative reconstruction.
