It is my pleasure to announce that we have presented our first detector for electron microscopy. The enthusiastic feedback motivates us to further develop our detectors for such exiting applications.
In addition, I would like to mention two highlights: Our EIGER S 500K upgrade promotion puts a high-performance system in your hands at a very affordable price, and we will present an entirely new product family at the International Small Angle Scattering Conference in Traverse City next week.
Please read also about our collaborator and friend Roland Horisberger, the pioneer of solid state detector development at the Paul Scherrer Institute. He has been awarded the Charpak-Ritz Prize - a reward for his lifetime achievements and closely related to the success of DECTRIS.
SAS 2018 Preview
The International Small Angle Scattering Conference (SAS) is the platform for discussing nanomaterial characterization. DECTRIS cordially invites all researchers to continue discussions at our evening reception. Joins us on Monday, 8 Oct, at 7 pm at the booth and meet our new product family.
Ten years ago, PILATUS 100K revolutionized the way you detect X-rays. Now's the time to upgrade to EIGER S 500K. You get higher spatial resolution, a frame rate of 3000 Hz, optional vacuum compatibility - and a special discount if you order before the end of the year.
Roland Horisberger was awarded this year's Charpak-Ritz Prize for his contributions to the development of solid state detectors. These detectors have changed particle physics and X-ray sciences and have great potential in electron microscopy.
