With frame rates of up to 3000 Hz, the EIGER X 1M is the detector of choice for dynamic methods like photon correlation spectroscopy and time-resolved small-angle X-ray scattering. Novel spot-scanning-based imaging techniques such as ptychography and small-angle scattering computed tomography greatly benefit from the speed of the detector and the accuracy of the data it produces.
