EIGER X 1M

With frame rates of up to 3000 Hz, the EIGER X 1M is the detector of choice for dynamic methods like photon correlation spectroscopy and time-resolved small-angle X-ray scattering. Novel spot-scanning-based imaging techniques such as ptychography and small-angle scattering computed tomography greatly benefit from the speed of the detector and the accuracy of the data it produces.

"A further improvement in XPCS may be achieved with more advanced detectors that combine high temporal and high spatial resolution, such as EIGER." (Narayan Theyencheri, beamline ID02, ESRF)
