The EIGER2 X CdTe 1M-W, with its wide rectangular active area, cadmium-telluride sensor, and optional vacuum compatibility, is a versatile X-ray detector for high-energy research. Its wide geometry makes it the ideal detector for applications such as SAXS/WAXS and Powder Diffraction including Pair Distribution Function (PDF) measurements. You can use it in combination with any kind of sample environment e.g. for in situ experiments under extreme conditions of temperature or pressure. In addition, thanks to its high frame-rate of up to 2,000 Hz and excellent gating capabilities, this detector also enables in situ time-resolved experiments.
