The EIGER2 X CdTe 1M, with its square-shaped active area, light weight, and optional vacuum compatibility, is a versatile X-ray detector for high-energy research. With its maximum frame rate of 2,000 Hz, it is the detector of choice for dynamic methods and time-resolved experiments. Equipped with a cadmium-telluride sensor, it has great stopping power, which is an advantage in any experiment that uses energies above 20 keV. This detector is ideal for X-ray diffraction techniques, which include — but are not limited to — powder diffraction, SAXS, and high-pressure experiments.
