The PILATUS3 X 300K CdTe system provides optimal efficiency for high-energy applications. Any experiment above 20 keV will benefit from the great stopping power of the CdTe sensor. This detector is optimally suited for any diffraction technique, such as powder diffraction, SAXS or high-pressure experiments. Its sensitive area of 84 mm x 33 mm makes the detector especially suited for following individual diffraction spots or for integrating a subsection of diffraction rings. With frame rates up to 500 Hz and excellent gating capabilities, the detector enables time-resolved experiments in situ.
In addition, the 100K-M offers all the features of the PILATUS3 X hybrid photon counting detectors, such as noise-free detection and optimal point spread function. Furthermore, you can exploit the optional vacuum compatibility (down to 10-6 mbar) of the detector for complete elimination of air scatter and absorption at low X-ray energies.
