DECTRIS and Unite Technology at 13th International Conference on Biology and Synchrotron Radiation

The 13th International Conference on Biology and Synchrotron Radiation (BSR13) was organized by Shanghai University of Science and Technology together with two synchrotron sources: Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF) and Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility (BSRF). The BSR13 was held from 21st to 24th September in the international convention center of Shanghai University of Science and Technology.

This conference covers a wide span of analytical techniques carried out at synchrotron sources and X-Ray Free-Electron Laser Facilities (XFELs).
 

The conference’s emphasis on integration of multi-disciplines and different technologies was reflected on a rich scientific program, covering twelve topics and four themes on:
 

1. Use synchrotron radiation source and X-ray free electron laser to determine spatial and temporal resolution structure of biomacromolecule;

2. Software, hardware upgrade and big data research of synchrotron radiation facility;

3. The application of Synchrotron radiation in biomedical field;

4. The application of X-ray Tomography Imaging and X-ray Coherent Diffraction Imaging in biology.

DECTRIS attended the conference together with the distributor for China, Unite Technology Limited. As a conference sponsor, DECTRIS presented its latest products and discussed the data collection strategies with the conference participants.
