EIGER2 for Laboratories

Originally developed for synchrotron beamlines, DECTRIS EIGER2® photon-counting detectors are also available for laboratory applications. The laboratory version of these detectors enjoys all the benefits of hybrid-pixel technology, including extensive background suppression and an excellent signal-to-noise ratio thanks to absence of detector background. With their superior dynamic range, these detectors also offer highly accurate measurements of very strong and weak intensities in the same exposure.

EIGER2 detectors reduce your measurement times by delivering high quality data fast and efficiently. Additionally, their many shapes and sizes, different sensor materials, vacuum compatibility, and room-temperature operation make them easy to integrate into a wide variety of scientific instruments.
