The EIGER2 R CdTe 1M is a compact laboratory X-ray detector with a large active area of 77 x 80 mm2 and a cadmium-telluride sensor. It features the most advanced Hybrid-Photon-Counting (HPC) technology, such as small (75 µm), direct-counting pixels; dual energy discrimination; DECTRIS Instant Retrigger; and simultaneous read/write. Along with the basic features of HPC – such as direct detection and the absence of detector background – this detector allows for faster and more accurate data collection at a high dynamic range with no saturation. Versatile and reliable, the EIGER2 R CdTe 1M is the ideal detector for excellent data quality and outstanding productivity in high-energy Single-Crystal Diffraction (SCD) and SAXS/WAXS applications.
