DECTRIS EIGER2® R X-ray detectors for laboratory applications incorporate all the state-of-the art features of hybrid-pixel technology. The two energy-discriminating thresholds allow for extensive background suppression and improve the signal-to-noise ratio, in particular for weak signals and long exposure times. The detectors’ superior count-rate performance, high dynamic range, and simultaneous read/write with zero dead time enable accurate measurements of even the highest intensities.

Thanks to the detectors’ optional vacuum compatibility, absorption and scattering from air and windows can be minimized. 75-µm pixels, in combination with direct detection, achieve high spatial and angular resolution and give you the benefit of fine sampling with wide coverage of reciprocal space.

DECTRIS EIGER2® R’s many geometries and room-temperature operation, with dedicated support from us, make it an easy-to-integrate and easy-to-operate X-ray detector for any analytical instrument.

  • Fast & precise: these detectors feature single-photon counting, combined with high frame and count rates and simultaneous read/write.
  • More & better data: our detectors offer the best signal-to-noise ratio, high spatial and angular resolution, two adjustable energy-discriminating thresholds, and a dynamic range of more than ten orders of magnitude.
  • Versatile: the detectors come in many sizes, with room-temperature operation and optional vacuum compatibility.
